did you remember to

set your clocks back? spring forward - fall back!

daylight savings time begins today.

what i want to know is just what bank they're kept in as i have 50 to collect on?

did we actually lose an hour of daylight? if so, where did it go? does this sort of thing bother anybody else?

gotta go tell my peppers to stop putting off fruit...they're not going to like this.

I love my cell phone. I don't have to think much with it around. It keeps me on schedule, stores information for me, reminds me of things I need to do, checks email, surfs the Internet for me, etc. etc. I set my alarm on it for this morning at 6, and sometime during the night, it instinctively set itself back an hour, and I was on time for church!

Nokia 6682 - it slices, it dices, it honors daylight savings time changes - and much more (and oh yeah...I can use it as a phone too)

Nokia ain't got nothing to do with it. The time is set off the network. This is good unless you have an incompetent bunch of morons running the network who don't get around to changing the time until about 11am, if this happens then even if you change your phone clock it keeps setting back to the network wrong time.

don't tell anybody, but when i got up and saw the clocks that could set themselves did - i went around and set all the clocks (p.c. included) UP an hour. yup - i had breakfast ready at what i thought to be 8:37 a.m.

dang i'm good - oh boo - it was only 7:37! i was trying to have everybody ready for church on time, but ended up having them all ready two hours early...

i think i'll go manipulate the clocks so my family will go to bed RIGHT now - then when i awaken at 5:30 - i'll manipulate them to say 6:45 - when they get up and around in five minutes flat and are ready to go - they'll know they've been punked!

of course, i'll have to sleep with one eye opened for several weeks thereafter...

nevermind.

You are so manipulative...

Even setting my clock back an hour isnt going to save me from being late for work.

I'll blame it on traffic again!!!!!

fern? you forgot cold and calculating!

guess i'll have to go to your place to rise to this occasion.

DST made me spring out of bed quite literally this morning. Because of the daylight, I thought I was late, big time.

I apologized to my boss this morning for being an hour late. Then I reset all the clocks and magically I was on time!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna do that every day.

and that's how it works, fern!

don't forget to set them back in the middle of the day so you can get off an hour early.
