Somewhat Less than Human

Sometimes a person hesitates to repeat or report certain things because of basic decency. But our MSM has low balled our enemy time and again, failing to report factual events and repeating obvious propaganda to "advance the story line".

There is no concrete evidence at this time to prove beyond doubt that all of these events actually happened. But for those of us without BDS and understanding of what is actually happening in the Middle East, we cannot dismiss them out of hand.

Michael Yon reports from Iraq:
[...]
"In one grave, soldiers recovered the heads of decapitated children, some with still partially recognizable remnants of flesh and hair. When I left the village, the digging was still ongoing, but I had seen and heard enough for the update I published the next day.
[...]
During a meeting, an Iraqi official in the room—who asked to remain anonymous—provided a narrative of how al Qaeda took control of Baqubah and much of Diyala Province. The paragraph that generated controversy follows:

The official reported that on a couple of occasions in Baqubah, al Qaeda invited to lunch families they wanted to convert to their way of thinking. In each instance, the family had a boy, he said, who was about 11 years old. As LT David Wallach interpreted the man’s words, I saw Wallach go blank and silent. He stopped interpreting for a moment. I asked Wallach, “What did he say?” Wallach said that at these luncheons, the families were sat down to eat. And then their boy was brought in with his mouth stuffed. The boy had been baked. Al Qaeda served the boy to his family.

Every syllable I wrote about this reported incident was in that paragraph, which offers no opinion about the veracity of his words.

Mr. Abdul Jabar had lived near the al Hamari village. He had more details about what happened there, and he was willing to go on the record. The reported incidents, wretching though they were and are, were reported “as is.”
When context is other people’s children

As I write these words just a few miles from the graves I saw, the resulting controversy about whether what the man said was true, or whether his words should have been written if the writer couldn’t verify them, seems precious. There is no imaginary line of credulity that al Qaeda might cross should it go from beheading children to baking them.
"

Please read the whole report.

oh, i believe it and have read about it elsewhere.

the izzies are barbarians to the core - not a decent one amongst them, especially if the "moderates" don't come forward and start doing something about these people who've hijacked their "religion of peace my ass"!

michael yon is quite a reliable source of information and this is about the sickest piece of info i've come across in the past few days.

This is the sickest piece I've come across, and I also came across it somewhere else, but I don't remember where. It's horrible that people actually can commit these horrendous acts, and "horrendous" doesn't even begin to describe it. There are no words! :(

The fact that these "freedom fighters" don't commit suicide and actually appear proud of their demonic carnage...tells me that there is slim to no hope of them changing back to human beings, and slim is packing.
They are completely divorced from Truth and reality.
Hell for Eternity seems rather appropriate.

I heard Rush talking about this. I certainly believe these monsters capable of such atrocities, but I want to see proof. It could be fake.

What family goes to dinner and doesn't miss their child until the dinner is served?

nanc said...

true, cube - but, you must admit they are entirely capable of such carnage.

Next thing you know you'll be voicing regrets about American jets putting Afghani kids in the deep fry.

Of course the "freedom isn't free" crew against all good advice grabs this tiger by the tail and then starts with the crocodile tears.

Get out of country now.

Tool to the end, huh Ducky?

Why do some have a difficult time believing that AQ is capable of barbarity? Time and again, terrorists have proven that they don't draw the line where the civilized world does.

Until we demonize the enemy, we will continue to make excuses for the enemy--spoken excuses or tacit ones.

The Merry Widow said...

AoW-We don't NEED to demonize them, they are handling that very well all by their lonesomes! We just need to be honest about it!
There are NO boundaries where these creatures are concerned, they are like toddlers and need to have boundaries erected for them.
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

They are certainly capable of such atrocities. No argument there.

I'm just saying we'd better make sure these charges are true before we use them.

I wouldn't want to go off half-cocked like the MSM repeating the
Koran in the toilet story when it never happened.

this goes back to political correctness. The muslims cannot be "evil" people in the MSM's eyes...they aren't westerners or Christians, or Jews, or conservatives. I stopped watching the big 3 years ago, and I'm beginning to get tired of FOX also.

Tales of cannibalism in Islam go all the way back to Prophet "Cut their hearts into pieces" Muhammad's riff in Koran 9:108-110.
The word translated as "cut" is only used as a cooking / culinary term in Arabic.

This tradition runs through raids of Saladin in the Holy Land on up to the relatively tame Mike Tyson munching on Evander Holyfield's ear in modern times to absolutely sick stuff like this.

Is Al Qaeda killing children and cooking their corpses as meals?

Why would you doubt it?
