Some fun stuff and something for nanc

I have some fun stuff stored on the web and if any of my friends wish to use these, feel free they may be used in posts but will not show in comments unless you plug one in to your personal picture box.

http://host.jwcinc.net/610407/gifs/fttt.gif

http://host.jwcinc.net/610407/pooch.jpg

http://host.jwcinc.net/610407/rds.jpg

All of the ones above are in the public domain and may be used freely. To use them, copy the URL from beside the gif or jpg and paste it into your menu for adding images where it says "Or add an image from the web" set the size for 100px which you will see in your "Edit Html" tab, in your blogger "Posting" tab after you download the image to blogger. (the drunken squirl is set for 200px), or play around with the size to see what it looks like. The larger the px size the larger the picture.

If you need help, ask me and I will be glad to give you a hand.

For my friends, no strangers. (if you, a stranger, become a friend first)
I hope I'm not stepping on the boss's toes (Mr Beamish) but if someone wants a custom Avatar, let me know. Its yours owing only to my consrtaint of time. If you aren't familiar with graphics programs and have an idea for a picture you would like to have for your blog, I'll see what I can come up with.

http://zenguin.com/webjay/wecan.jpg

although the hair IS me, i don't want to upset beamish, or aow. now i feel treated. actually, i'm more like the drunken squirrel! except i don't drink hard liquor, only a couple of beers or seven...

p.s. i cannot imagine ANY woman being terrible to you. guess i've never understood that aspect of some women - self absorbed is the best i can describe this phenom.

I love them! I'm more like a Church-going old lady though. lol.

Where would I put it? I have a silver star on my site right now. You would have to go down past the archives. It is from technorati.

i think something has happened to our canadian pal elijah's blog. the same notorious 'blog not found' screen is popping up again.

nanc said...

drummaster - did you try to link there from one of his comments? i'll see if i can and get back here.

nanc said...

i just linked on his name from another post and his e-mail is the only link up - try e-mailing him from his post an article down.

Nanc you do need an Avatar for effective satire in the artform known as Beamishism.

Anum just sent over a sponsor for my blog.

Nanc,
Back to the drawing board!

LOL

That is strange though, I haven't talked to him about it and I cetainly don't want to upset anyone. I'll go ahead and pull them down.

Warren said...

Rosemary,
You can plug them in to a post just as you would a regular photo.

Say, you were quoting Ted Kennedy. The picture of the drunken squirrel would make several points without saying a word.

They can be downloaded and saved to be stored elsewhere or used directly from my image storage with my permission.

I use a site that specializes in image storage for eBay and other auction outfits and I have no bandwidth restriction.

DM, I believe he has pulled down his blog again.

The Beak and I might have given him too much to digest at one time. I think he might have went on a reading binge.

I noticed he was down two days ago and sent him an Email.

No reply. :^(

In time, I believe he will be back. At least he didn't pull his profile down.

don't get me wrong, warren - i am flattered. did you check out the link i left? might be worth presenting to sir beamish for aow to review. i think beamish sees me more as a siren:

http://www.elmgrovewi.org/images/Siren.jpg

or was that a siren:

http://www.goldgryph.com/goldgryph/cards/images/siren.JPG

nope, it is definitely a siren:

When are we going to make a blog for the homeless to call there own. It seems to me that one blogger I know would have a wonderful blog.

Jules K asked me to remove her from my list. My first rejection. She was also my first comment from a stranger. She has been misunderstanding the point of my posts for two months. I wonder if this is the end.

nanc said...

jules seems a little highstrung - it's not your fault jacob. when people take me the wrong way i would hope they would confront me about it. she seems to be someone who cannot be confronted. and quite perhaps a smidgen too far to the left. there is a fine line we walk. she'll be okay - i know you are.

Warren said...

FB, If I may ask, what's to misunderstand?

You guys will have to excuse me for a while. I'm logging off and going to another operating system so I can do my taxes and some graphics work in windows based software.

I usually use Linux but I'm more familiar with some of the windows based software, and right now, I don't want to take the time to learn different programs.

She liked to treat me as a child. I love the fact that all other bloggers treat me like an aquatic mammal as that is what I am.
Jules took my posts and comment either to seriously or not enough.
Treating me like a child is one persons job.. My mother-in-law!
I have found a lot of good animation on the web. I will post some links this week sometime.
ort, ort, ort, ort.

Nanc: you [Warren] must be the most thoughtful person

He is!

Have I been missing out on a discussion, Warren? I feel "in medias res" here.

Rosie is good and is a great idea. Can I use it? Legal and all that? If so, I can switch from the VA state seal.

What I had originally thought of is an animated avatar of a woman frantically typing at a computer keyboard. Above her head is a dialogue bubble with "Stupid dhimmis!" Doesn't have to be animated, though, now that I think of it.

I am golden blond out-of-a-bottle and wear oversized glasses. I have shoulder-length hair, layered, with swept bangs.

Just giving you the details in case you feel inspired. You can email me @
AlwaysOnWatch@aol.com

Nanc,
Upset me? Well, nobody likes to because I can be fierce. Hehehe.

Don't worry about upsetting ME. But Beamish??? Look out!

J.M. Seals said...

I affended Beamishe's musical tastes on my blog. He was understanding. I just don't need friendly enemies. I need liberal enemies, and help from my brothers and sisters to defend the cause.

nanc said...

aow - did you catch my first rosie? she's a beaut! i know beamish pictures you as rosie and that is why i couldn't accept this kind gesture.

i have a mess of hair nearly to my waste (i cut three inches last night) and it is black and silver and semi-curly. i like to wear those tiny on the end of my nose reading glasses.

nanc said...

jacob - beamish will let you know when he disagrees with you but i've never seen him shun anybody for personal differences. grown-ups don't usually act that way ;}

Always On Watch said...

Testing avatar.

Always On Watch said...

Warren,
I upload the image to PhotoBucket. As you can see, the text doesn't show up very well in the comment. That's okay. I could do without text.

Anyway, you can see it now.

I'll email you in a second.

Always On Watch said...

F.B.,
Beamish has no trouble expressing himself, but I don't see him holding grudges.

Always On Watch said...

Nanc,
I used to wear those tiny glasses, but now I need Varilux lenses.

So, Beamish sees me as Rosie. That's pretty good! I like it!

J.M. Seals said...

I figured this much. But thanks for the encouragement. I am sure only my opinions about music will be differant from those of the rest of the family.

I still need some more suggestions for the band of the week. I will do my best to use suggestions in following weeks.

Always On Watch said...

FB,
You're way ahead of me in the adding-sound stuff.

What kind of music are you adding? I don't usually have my speakers on when I visit various sites.

Beamish might disagre with you, but he's still a bud.

He and I usually agree (99%), but not always. No big deal to either of us.

nanc said...

i'm still a homeless blogger...

nanc said...

p.s. imagine if we were all exactly alike? boRing!

Warren said...

FB,
Don't let them fool you. Dissin Lynyrd Skynyrd could earn you a slap up side the head with a dead mackerel!

BWa hahahahahaha!

I thought about joining your Society for People with Nouns for Last Names. But you'd laugh at mine!

nanc said...

thank you for not laughing - out loud at least...

Always On Watch said...

Never, even diss Lynyrd Skynyrd to an Alabamian!

Warren said...

Nanc, I've seen worse. You didn't see mine before I had to pull it down!

nanc said...
