Hasta cuando (Until when)

Don't let the left glorify a nightmare!

FJ says:
I found the original piece of "romantic" propaganda that "inspired" this music video, a love paean to Che Guevearra entitled "Until forever, my commander". This video asks the question, "until when????" and calls the "commander" a deceptive fraud!

Chavez supporters have attempted to color the student protests as a nefarious plot and coup against Chavez's socialist government. To counter that perception, before marching, university student paint the palms of their hands white and carry banners that read "We are students, not coup makers!" to signify the sacredness of civil rights and their glorious cause.

Support the student "white hand movement".

Question:

Glorifying nightmares is one of the primary hallmarks of what the left does, when they're not out creating their own nightmares to glorify. In fact, that's mostly what leftists ever do, ever since Robespierre subsidized the guillotine industry in France. They marvel to build a dystopian greater social justice, but what greater social justice can there be than a government that will kill you for your own good?

Bot letting the left glorify nightmares may require guns. We're talking about people who believe jars of piss are art, remember?

Cuz, in the words of Ayn Rand:

"The truly deliberately evil men are a very small minority, it is the appeasers who unleashes them on mankind; it is the appeaser's intellectual abdication that invites them to take over. When a culture's dominant trend is geared to irrationality, the thugs win over the appeasers. When intellectual leaders fail to foster the best in the mixed, uninformed, vacillating character of people at large, the thugs are sure to bring out the worst. When the ablest men turn into cowards, the average men turn into brutes."

I cannot just "shrug" and I would make a piss-poor slave for a tin pot dictator.

Thanks for post, warren! I found the original piece of "romantic" propaganda that "inspired" this music video, a love paean to Che Guevearra entitled "Until forever, my commander". This video asks the question, "until when????" and calls the "commander" a deceptive fraud!

I read Julia's post and left a comment. She is very brave as are all the students protesting this megalomaniacal dictator. It's a good thing she speaks English though because my knowledge of Spanish is nearly nonexistant. Thank you for posting her link.

Not very good. Get a copy of "The United States of America". "Love Song for the Dead Che" is very good". One of the first uses of synthesizers in American pop.

Warning: Dorothy Moscowitz letting it rip on "Hard Coming Love" is not family fare.
