the NAME game
the madzionists are welcoming a boy into their family. please choose a boy's name and give the reason why this would be a good name for new babyboy-z.
i happen to think they'll name the baby nanc, so i'll disqualify myself from this game.
NancZ, how's that? I'm partial to Nathan, Jonathan, Benjamin, Joshua,Caleb, all good G*Dly men! Not namby-pamby names either. Good, solid masculine names. Michael is good too!
of course you know, our son is named after the father of king david. my two grandsons are josiah and jeremiah - there is no good time to name your kid terrell!
Ugh, who would name a child Terrell? No, never mind, I'd probably be arrested by the pc police! My Dad told me a story from a good friend who was an AF doctor(they met up in Greenland) mid-50's. Anyway this doctor told my Dad about a program his med school had, sending interns out to sharecroppers in the South. Well, these interns ended up delivering a lot of babies and the families would ask for different names for the babies...well, turns out these were a bunch of smartalecks! They came up with names like Urinia, etc. etc. and these poor children ended up with the most preposterous names you could imagine, or not, it was awful! There was an awful lot of Latin learned by poor sharecroppers that year!
just remember...no, never forget - your children will either love or hold their names against you - do not name your son "harry peter bush" and yes, i've met someone with this name.
for instance, a madzionist would not want to name his son "hans christian zionist" - no, no, no.
