I send greetings to the many Muslims observing Ramadan in America and around the world.
Ramadan is the holiest time of the Muslim year and an important holiday when Muslims take time for prayer, fasting, and personal sacrifice. According to Islamic teachings, this month represents when God delivered His word to the prophet Muhammad in the form of the Qur'an. Ramadan is also an opportunity to gather with friends and family and show thanks for God's blessings through works of charity.
Ramadan and the upcoming holiday seasons are a good time to remember the common values that bind us together. Our society is enriched by our Muslim citizens whose commitment to faith reminds us of the gift of religious freedom in our country.

I've wondered about this myself.
Perhaps its because we value life, especially innocent life. Maybe its because our God doesn't reward us for murder.
But paying in kind isn't murder. I hate it that these cockroaches can trust to our better nature to mock us.
I have a friend, not a conservative by any means, he says that he these people are somewhat less than human.
At some point in time, these cockroaches will cross an invisible line and those that appeal to our better nature will turn loose the warriors and the bloody minded.
Islam will either have a reformation or cease to exist except as another historical example of crushed Fascism. Their opportunistic allies will suffer the fate of petty tyrants that hitch their ambitions to the wrong horse.
The appeasers will stifle their petty mewings and scurry into hiding or act like they were with us all along.
