JESSE JACKSON, EL STUPIDO SUPREMO!

obamanation and maternal grandparents.

just when you think jesse jackson cannot sound more like a "negro", he verbally flatulates this!

oh my word! did i say "negro"? p.c. police'll probably be after me now...

at least these imbeciles keep people like me in material. thank you, reveruns-at-the-mouth jackson - youdanegro!

ADDENDUM:

al sharptongue weighs in on the "jena 6" - closing line: "he (bell) doesn't want anything done that would disparage his name - no violence not even a negative word," sharptongue said. NO VIOLENCE! 'scuse me, al, but he's the one that beat the tar out of the WHITE victim!

JESSE! AL!

...and now the story of Jena, which started on "Democracy Now" Tuesday, moved to "The View" Wednesday morning, and should be on the networks by tomorrow night.

I've still only heard one side of the story... that of the poor incarcerated "victims".

Schools in Jena are going to close for a few days. From this source, for convenience:

In the wake of these events, numerous groups in support of the "Jena Six" and against the way the cases were and are being handled have appeared on social networking site Facebook,[25] as well as an online petition circulating boasting over 342,937 signatures as of September 19, 2007.[26]

As well, a fund was set up by the NAACP to help pay attorney fees,[27] and on September 18, musician David Bowie donated $10,000 to it. In a statement he said, "There is clearly a separate and unequal judicial process going on in the town of Jena. A donation to the Jena Six Legal Defense Fund is my small gesture indicating my belief that a wrongful charge and sentence should be prevented."[28]

Even though Mychal Bell's conviction has been overturned, a rally is still scheduled for September 20, 2007, the day that he was scheduled to be sentenced on.[29] Civil rights leaders Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Martin Luther King III plan to attend,[30] as does rapper and actor Mos Def.[31] Darryl Hunt is scheduled to be a key speaker.[32] Due to the large amount of people expected to arrive — up to 60,000[30] — schools on the south side of LaSalle Parish — the Jena side — will be shut down on September 20 and possibly on September 21.[33]

I note that JJ has compared Jena to Selma--"a defining moment." Huh?

Why doesn't this surprise me?

LaSalle Parish District Attorney Reed Walters, who oversaw the local investigations into both incidents, rejected the idea there was "a direct linkage" between the hanging of the nooses and the schoolyard attack.

"When this case was brought to me and during our investigation and during the trial, there was no such linkage ever suggested," Walters said in a news conference Wednesday in Jena. "This compact story line has only been suggested after the fact.

Odysseus has been lining up his axe handles again.

I notice they didn't mention 'why' Bell's conviction was thrown out. The kid wasn't 'innocent', the conviction was overturned because he was tried as an 'adult' for a crime only kids are allowed to be charged with.

Sharpton's been beating this 'Jena' drum all summer. If you start at any point in this fairy tale 'other' than the "noose in the tree" incident, you conclude that Bell is simply a small-time hood and a school bully in a turf battle.

Thanks for the link, Farmer John. I have to admit to not having followed this case.

Nanc, Sharpton and Jackson have become a highly-amusing comedy team, nothing more. They're so spaced out I find them hilarious!

Sharpton & Jackson would have nothing to do if they didn't play
the race card. That's all they do.

I wonder is Jesse and Al have thought about another one of their fiasco's, "the Tawanna Brawley incident?

It's all about a way to grub in money for themselves.

I wondered when someone would say something on how this Jena thing started.
I am all for respecting races and things like that so the noose on the tree is bad news living in todays society but very few mention the fact that these kids beat up the white kid.Again racially motivated.
They act like martyrs for the cause and I hope they do not dare compare themselves to people who did good things like Rosa Parks
