The Democrates ran on a "Culture of corruption and the MSM were their willing allies as this type of information was covered up.
How many people have heard or seen these tapes, but if it had been a Republician, they would have been run in prime time every day.
Jack murtha is Nancy Pelosi's choice for House Majority leader. Pelosi has her own ethics problems, Harry Reid has been caught benifiting from shady land deals which involve legislation and earmarks of which he was the author, Alcie Hastings was a Federal judge recently impeached for fraud, Charlie Rangle has close Socialist ties if not an outright Socialist in his own right.
Every one of these people is portraied in the MSM as almost saintly and the ignorant American electorate laped it up! Every one is slated for a leadership position in the House.
I intend to start fighting for 08 now and profile every one of these criminal clowns.

House Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi today defended her decision to back Rep. Jack Murtha, D-PA, as the next House Majority Leader, citing his extensive ethics experience as crucial to her efforts to “clean up the House.”
“Jack Murtha knows corruption inside and out,” said Rep. Pelosi, D-CA. “If we’re going to purge misconduct from our midst, we need someone intimately familiar with it.”
She distributed to reporters a history of Rep. Murtha’s “work involving ethics,” that she called “a chronicle of accomplishment dating back to the Abscam bribery sting days — making him ideally suited for leadership in the Democrat party.”
“Jack Murtha has been at the forefront of the corruption debate for almost three decades,” she said. “We can’t afford to elect a leader who’s naive in these matters. We need a man who knows the cost of buying votes with earmark porkbarrel projects, a man for whom political nepotism is not just a textbook case study, a man who has the courage to look at a $50,000 bribe and say ‘I’m not interested…at this point’, and one who has demonstrated the kind of cooperative skills it takes to walk away from an FBI probe a free man.”
“In brief,” Rep. Pelosi said, “two words sum up Jack Murtha’s qualifications to lead the scouring of the House: unindicted co-conspirator.”

Pelosi promised to "drain the swamp of corruption in Washington" in her bid for the Speakership. Then she nominate's Jack Murtha for a Leadership position.
